Michael The stripped back versions of these songs really show off Harkin's strength as a lyricist. My favourite track is the whatsapp demo of "Thought I'd Go Home" which seems to only be on the tape, you should buy the tape!

This is an artists rendition of what the cassette will looks like kindly provided by Deirdre Anna Rose Kelly! <3 What you get in the post will be an actual cassette and not a drawing of one! Listen to that old record of mine that I never put out and feel nostalgic about while you listen to it from a cassette and feel nostalgic about when you where younger and used tape cassettes to record Westlife songs from the radio and CDs like I did. What am I doing without you?

There's some people I'd like to speak to if they don't know it's me that's speaking to them So come on over, up the srairs here we are free, no one cares kill the lightbulb, a spark for spark spend the daylight in the dark and teeth sink like ships into seas of your skin ready to burn up like lighter fluid slipping so softly, so quiet, like nothing clear as life in translucence a bite that's so crisp, it put crunch in the leaves left the sky in a million shades a pallet of pastels, synthetic surroundings and sights that will leave me dazed we dirty our clothes sporting fanta from coke we've got no money we just have a design become trapped in an order of nothing before water with ice cubes and lemon and lime.

about

This is an old album that I finished in 2016 and never put out due to all the gear i used to perform the songs like this being stolen off a bus on the way to dingle to play other voices in 2016. But there are some early and interesting version of my songs in it and I wanted you to hear it so here it is. it's kinda like Never Happy's less confident older brother.
